Here are some of our most frequently asked questions (FAQs) about our professional puppets. If you have any other questions, feel free to contact us and we’ll try our best to answer your enquiry.
Do you make custom puppets?
Of course! We make 100% custom puppets as well as our own line of products. You can contact us with your wildest puppet dreams and we will work to bring it to life! We will keep you up to date with images of your puppets progress along the way to make sure you are happy with the developments.
We only use the highest quality materials for our puppets, from reticulated foam, nylon ‘antron’ fleece and 3D printed components such as eyes, teeth and horns.
Feel free to get in contact with us to discuss a custom design you may have!
Can my puppet have animatronics?
Of course! We have a range of animatronic options available for custom puppets, such as blinking eyes and twitching ears. Feel free to contact us with any ideas for moving puppets, we’d love to help!
We design all of our animatronics and 3D print the components ourselves. We can also custom design some features that you may have in mind.
How are your puppets operated?
All of our puppets are made with bottom entry and arm rod fixtures. We can however, include back entry or a different variety of arm rod options. The puppets have a handmade wooden mouth template with leather and fleece straps for ease of use. These options can all be discussed during the design stages.
Any animatronic components and blinking systems are operated via sliders on handheld control boxes.
How long does a puppet take to build?
An ‘off the shelf’ puppet available from our shop will take approximately 2 weeks to finish, depending on how busy we are.
However, a completely bespoke puppet created from sketches and ideas you may have could take much longer depending on the complexity. Adding features such as animatronics will affect the build time so it’s best to contact us well in advance of needing your puppet ready.
